How to make crispy taco shells
The first step to making the shells is to find a tortilla that you like. I found carb balanced whole wheat tortillas by Mission. They were delicious and ended up only being 3 net carbs and 80 calories per tortilla.
Next, preheat the oven to 375-degrees. Once the oven is preheated, carefully place the tortillas over one of the oven grates using a tongs. Allow the shells to bake and crisp up for 6-7 minutes. Be sure to check the tortillas during the baking process to avoid burning.
Use the tongs to remove the shells from the oven racks and serve with taco meat!
